Lavender is considered to be one of the most versatile flowers in the world. Not only is it beautiful grown in the garden with its gray-green foliage and sweet smelling flowers it is sought-after for hundreds of other uses. Originally found in the mediterranean the perennial herb has long been prized for its captivating perfume and medicinal qualities. Used by the ancient romans for its healing and antiseptic properties the name itself comes from the latin lavare which means to wash. Your lavender plant arrives in a six inch decorative pot or basket not always as shown. Please note: if plants are moved from growing indoors to an outdoor location they should initially be placed where they receive filtered sunlight or morning sun and afternoon partial shade. Placing your plant directly into full hot sun may burn the leaves note: next day delivery if order is placed before 1pm est. Deliveries can only be made tuesday through friday.
